1. Our Great Temple Tower
The Temple Tower is an amazingly tall skyscraper named after William Penn and is the third tallest building in Philadelphia. The tower houses Temple’s secret police, which reports and locks up anyone who disagrees with the administration. Soldiers and policemen have been known to use the tower to intimidate people into praising the university or taking part in unjust activities. It’s also a popular place for major parties with college students who are looking to celebrate a big victory or raise a glass with friends.
2. Our Ugly Student Center
The student center is actually pretty ugly, but this building will remain empty regardless of what they do to it so we won’t hold it against them too much. It’s a very modern building, featuring lots of glass and green accents. It’s also worth mentioning that it’s across the street from a large parking garage, and students often choose to walk through the garage to get in and out of it as opposed to walking around.
3. Our Beautiful Greek Life
Temple is home to many great fraternities and sororities including Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Sigma Phi, Delta Sigma Theta, Delta Sigma Pi, Kappa Alpha Psi and Phi Beta Sigma. Greek life is popular on campus because it allows Temple students to participate in leadership programs like Project H.O.O.D. (Helping Others Obtain Direction), which is a service-based program that gives students the opportunity to plan and execute community service within the Temple community.
4. Our Artful Sustainability
Temple has gained a lot of international attention for their forward-thinking sustainable technologies. Temple was one of the first universities in the US to use recycled drinking water in any building, such as their Anderson Hall, which is also one of only two buildings in the entire country that has these beautiful water features.
Temple also has a research center called The Institute for Sustainable Energy Technologies that develops new technology to reduce energy consumption on campus. Temple also uses recycled and repurposed materials when constructing its buildings, such as using old windows and doors as part of their construction projects. Lastly, they have a campus bike share program that helps students get around campus on foot or by bike.
5. Our Weird Library
The Temple library is a little different, with a structure that looks like a giant X. The building is really tall with five floors, but there aren’t many bookshelves on any of the floors. The library has more open space because they have their own study room on every floor where students can go to complete their assignments or relax between classes.
Students can also enjoy the beautiful view of the city from the top floor. If you’re looking for a more traditional study space, students can also head down to Morgan Hall which is located right above the library and features tons of seats and tables as well as a nice view outside.

The campus is legendary for its beautiful architecture, including the Temple Tower, the Broad Street Campus and The Museum of Art at The Center for the Arts. Temple has had more than 50 buildings built on their campus, including everything from single-family houses to dorms to cafeterias, so this school has a lot to offer. Not only are there beautiful buildings but students can also enjoy playing sports or making new friends at one of the many fraternities or sororities on campus. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even visit several different campuses while studying at Temple because they’re connected by a free trolley system that travels around campus.

The campus is huge, and it takes a while to get around by foot, but this is also a plus for students who are on a budget. Having so much space means that students can easily get lost in their studies and never have to worry about cutting it close to home.
