Teaching, like all other activities of the education system and related to education, has been conducted online in the last two years. Online teaching became popular around the world and teachers of every educational institution had to adapt to this mode of teaching to ensure that classes could continue even through the times of a pandemic when it was practically impossible to be present in an offline classroom and deliver lectures. This type of teaching is now common across the globe in educational institutions of all types. Online teaching also made it possible for professionals from other fields to teach and share their knowledge and experience with the students who would benefit from the same. Online teaching ensured that teaching was highly inclusive and the main aim of teaching was to share knowledge and hence anyone and everyone could involve in teaching from their homes and share a skill or an experience to guide students. Online teaching offered options that allowed teachers to also make an additional income by starting an online course or online private tutoring or any other type of classes for students that could be done purely online without having to spend much on place and travel but only on equipment. Online teaching reduced boundaries too. Teachers could share their classes and study material with learners from around the world. Their classes now had students from all parts of the world and the students benefitted from getting to learn from the best teachers around the globe.

While online classrooms, online teaching and online learning have been in place for the last two years and teachers, students and all other members of educational institutions have benefitted from the same, offline classes will soon resume and schools will reopen with full strength. In the last two years, schools and colleges have not reopened with full strength for the students of all age groups. Hybrid classes were introduced for short durations only for students of higher classes or for students who had to be given practical training or any other classes for exam preparations and so on. Exams were also conducted in the online mode, be it subjective or objective type examinations. The hybrid mode was introduced for exams as well and in many educational institutions, offline exams were also conducted but only for the higher classes or the senior-most students. Schools, colleges, coaching centres, tuition centres and all other types of educational institutions have functioned online for the past two years and all the activities of these educational institutions have been supported by online apps, websites and software and the various tools offered by these.

Orders have been passed lately to reopen schools, colleges and all other educational institutions and resume offline classes. These orders have now been passed across the country and many countries around the world have already resumed offline classes. Classes will soon resume for students of all age groups. For the first time in the last two years, the youngest students will be going to school to attend classes and also the teachers will be present at full strength in school.

As the switch from the offline classes to the online class was a little hard in the beginning, so will the change from online teaching to offline teaching be as all the teachers are now very familiar and comfortable with online teaching methods, modes and tools. Teaching in the offline space will not even be so hard as teachers have taught offline previously before the online system came into existence.

Teachers will also have support from the online tools as these tools will also now be useful in managing certain activities related to teaching and simplifying the job even in the offline mode. Other than this, teachers will have to be prepared and brush up on the offline teaching modes and methods to get back to their classes with all their energy, zeal and enthusiasm so as to keep up the spirits of the class and the students. For ensuring that the students also adjust well to this system and understand the lessons being given, the teachers can use different methods of teaching like the inductive method of teaching. Teachers can also create interesting course content to ensure that the students are attentive and focused.
