7 Lessons I’ve Learned From a Lifetime Fitness Gym In North Austin

Here at Lifetime fitness North Austin , Texas, our personal trainers always deliver on their promises. With over 25 years of industry experience and an impressive 10+ years in the fitness industry they can tell you exactly how to workout, how often to work out, and what exercises are best for different goals. I’ve been a Lifetime Fitness member for over 12 years, and my personal trainers have always helped me change my body, but the greatest thing about working with them is that no matter how old I get, or how many years I’ve been a member for, they still keep me coming back. Due to my age, I gain weight quickly and I’m always in need of weight loss advice. Recently one of our trainers kept calling out to me to take a seat on the weight bench so that we could chat. Having left behind all my resistance bands and weights at home (they were loaned), I sat down on the bench so that we could talk about fitness.

7 Lessons I’ve Learned From Lifetime Fitness Gym In North Austin :

1. The Fitness Industry Is Not For Everyone.

Everyone at a workout gym is different, everyone wants to improve their body in a different way. Some exercise to stay fit while others exercise to lose weight, some are interested in building muscle while others want to develop their glutes and abs. The important part is that you don’t become too self conscious about the way you look or what you wear when exercising.

2. You Become Who You Train With

It’s more than just pushing a button and going home, form not mattering applies here as well. You can learn how to lift certain weights, how to do certain exercises, and you can even become the best personal trainer in the gym. But if you’re not training with someone who knows what they are doing and taking their knowledge seriously, then it’s hard to gain that extra edge that will make a difference.

3. A Personal Trainer Can Help You Motivate Yourself To Keep Going.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a confession to make: I don’t always have the motivation needed to complete my workouts. I do have that extra push to go, but I never have the motivation to get there because I’m so exhausted by the time I get home. My trainer always wants more of me, and he always pushes me forward until I’m exhausted. So if you’re tired of being tired and don’t understand why you can’t be as motivated as someone else, then you need some extra help going.

4. The Gym Is Not A Time Of Loneliness

Like many Beverly Hills celebrities, I’ll be at the gym for hours on end with no one else around just working out alone in silence. I’ll listen to music or a podcast, but sometimes I just need someone to be there with me since that push is so much greater when you’re in a group.

5. The Gym Can Be A Great Place To Make Friends

Sure, you may have tons of friends outside the gym, but if you spend your time alone then that won’t help anything. If you feel lonely at the gym then join a class and meet new people, or talk to others and make some friends. You might even make your future spouse there! It’s unlikely that you’ll find your soulmate in a workout area, but stranger things have happened!

6. You Can Learn How To Work Out

There are tons of training guides out there, but there is always that one person who claims that they already know how to work out. I’ll never forget the consultation I had with a personal trainer back in 2008, where this guy claimed that he had never missed a single workout and he brought me over to his favorite machine. Apparently his bench press was broken because all he did was push two buttons, and almost every other part of his body was completely toned. Later on I watched him get discouraged when he couldn’t lift the weight even though it was within his weight lifting limits for safety reasons (he thought it was too heavy for him). He ended up quitting the gym several weeks later.

7. You Can Learn How To Get Fit For Life

Whether you’re looking to get fit for a good cause, or just want to stay in shape, there are many ways that you can achieve your goals. If you feel like you don’t have the time to workout, then do it at night when your family is asleep. Even if it’s just for an hour a day, you will definitely start seeing great results after a few weeks. If this is not enough for you, then join up at the gym and work out with other people as part of a team who are going after the same goal of getting fit for life.
