Common Misconceptions About ikea Electric Skateboard

Did you know that each ikea electric skateboard is made in a modern facility that adheres to strict quality standards? If you’ve been considering purchasing an ikea skateboard rack but were unsure due to misconceptions, then this post is for you. In this post, we will look at the many myths and misconceptions about ikea electric skateboards.

You might think that because they are sold at a mass retailer like Ikea, they must not be high quality products, but nothing could be further from the truth. They’re actually manufactured by one of the most respected companies in the industry.

1. Myth: It’s a toy.

It’s true that ikea electric skateboards look like toys. But they are in fact, very serious and safe products. So what’s the difference?

A toy is made of plastic, and has no motor, blades or wheels. It gives you all the freedom and excitement of riding a regular skateboard with none of the risk involved.

An electric skateboard is not a toy. An electric skateboard operates under different principles than a regular skateboard.

The ikea electric skateboard is not made of plastic, and it has two powerful motors that provide the rider with a smooth ride. It also has a huge battery that gives riders long distance rides without recharging.

2. Myth: It doesn’t turn out well.

A common misconception about ikea electric skateboards is that they are too heavy and don’t turn as well as regular skateboards. For some riders, this can be a deal breaker when deciding whether or not to purchase an ikea electric skateboard.

However, ikea electric skateboards actually have a shorter turning radius than regular skateboards. On a regular skateboard, the rider has to turn their body at a sharp angle in order to make a complete and fluid turn.

But on an ikea electric skateboard, the rider simply turns the wheels in order to make a complete turn. Riders can easily navigate through tight streets and crowded sidewalks with ease.

3. Myth: It doesn’t get enough power from its battery.

Another misconception about ikea electric skateboards is that they can’t hold their charge for long distances because of the way it’s made.

But although it depends on the rider’s weight and certain environmental factors, ikea electric skateboards have a great battery life.

For instance, if you’re riding an ikea electric skateboard and you weigh 120 pounds and it’s a calm day outside, the battery may last for about 10 miles. But if it’s windy out or you weigh 180 pounds, then the battery will likely die in far fewer miles.

However, no matter what kind of rider you are or how long your commute is, there is always an option to help you make that distance.

One way to do this is by installing a new battery. You can also add a second battery to your ikea electric skateboard for additional charge, or you can even double the range of your ikea electric skateboard.

4. Myth: It’s underpowered.

The final myth we will look at is that ikea electric skateboards are underpowered and not very fast. But if an ikea electric skateboard doesn’t have enough power for you, then you can upgrade it with more powerful motors and larger wheels.

And although it takes time to design and build custom parts, once these are ready they can be easily mounted onto your existing ikea electric skateboard frame.

Once you have upgraded your ikea electric skateboard, it should be able to run at speeds up to 15 miles per hour. This is not as fast as a regular skateboard, but this is more than enough for most riders.

5. Myth: A low top tube is uncomfortable.

The final misconception about ikea electric skateboards is that a low top tube will make riders uncomfortable since they are so tall. But this really isn’t true.

The ikea electric skateboard frame offers riders adjustable handlebars, allowing them to sit comfortably on the deck without having to stoop over or crouch down to reach the ground while riding. This lets riders lean forward and enjoy the ride, instead of hunching over in pain and discomfort.

6. Myth: You don’t need a helmet.

There is another common misconception that an ikea electric skateboard is not safe to ride without a helmet. But this couldn’t be further from the truth.

If you’re riding on public roads in California, you will most likely be required to wear a bicycle helmet while riding your ikea electric skateboard as well. However, on private property and residential streets, helmets are seldom required and are usually unenforced. But if you’re riding off road or down residential streets in the dark, or on any unknown or unfamiliar trail, it’s best to always wear a helmet for your own protection.

Summary:

The picture above shows a closeup of the components. You can see that there are three different motors, batteries, electronics and sensors inside the ikea electric skateboard frame. There’s also the motor shafts that connect to the wheels and batteries to power them.

In order to make an upgrade like this, all you need is some basic knowledge of how components work, and an access to a computer or laptop with software like 3D-printer.

So remember, despite the myths, ikea electric skateboards are powered by motors, batteries and electronics. Anything else you hear about them is just a myth and completely false.
