Hell Of A Summer
Many of the best horror movies have been based in the summertime. This is no different with the new ‘Horror-Comedy Slasher Movie’ from Finn Wolfhard. The film, now titled ‘Hell Of A Summer’ was revealed to Variety this month and it has an interesting plot that follows a group of friends away for their summer vacation in the middle of nowhere. As you can imagine, everything goes wrong very quickly when they come across some serious trouble in this remote cabin with lots and lots of secrets.
Finn Wolfhard, best known for his role in ‘Stranger Things,’ will be taking on the lead character named Seth alongside his good friend and co-star from the Netflix series Cali Sheldon.
Finn Wolfhard has penned the script for this independent horror-comedy and is working alongside Billy Bryk, who is directing it. Previously, both stars have been working together on the Fear Street series.
Pardis Saremi who played Mei in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things will also be appearing alongside Cali Sheldon and Matthew Finland in this film. the cast will be announced over the next few months.
The plot itself centers around a group of friends visiting upstate New York to spend their summer vacations at an isolated cabin in a secluded forested area.
This particular film is different than other horror comedies that we have previously seen. The plot is based on the assumption that the town of Arden is hiding some rather unpleasant secrets about a local legend. To be more specific, locals believe a local legend of the ‘Hangman’ who was once active in this area during colonial times. This character was said to be responsible for bringing death to anyone in his way and as such, he was hung from a tree by a group of villagers after their village turned into ashes from his wrath in the 1800s.
The director of the film is Billy Bryk. In addition to this, both ‘Stranger Things stars Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk both received the Director’s Award at the Younique Film Festival 2016. Finn Wolfhard had recently developed a “Horror-Comedy Slasher Movie”
Finn Wolfhard has been quite busy recently. He has been filming a third season of ‘Stranger Things’ and was also seen in the hit Stephen King film ‘It,’ where he played Richie Tozier.
The first film release date for “Hell of a Summer” has not been officially announced, however, the film will be released in October 2018.

Finn Wolfhard fans are eagerly waiting for his new movie along with the fans of ‘Stranger Things.’ Wolfhard is getting ready to start filming the third season of his hit Netflix show. The cast and crew will be returning to the filming spot in Atlanta, Georgia along with a very familiar character. In addition, it has been revealed that there will be a very big change in the character of Millie Bobby Brown’s character, Eleven. Eleven is expected to take a new path in this film during the third season.
Finn Wolfhard is currently working with Cali Sheldon on ‘Hell of a Summer.’ This film is set to be released in October of this year, so we expect more details on the plot soon.
