When an adolescent acquaintance and former boxing phenom, Damian “Dame” Anderson, returns from prison after serving a lengthy sentence, he is determined to demonstrate that he is worthy of a shot in the ring. The confrontation between former friends is more than just a brawl. To settle the score, Donnie must risk his future to face Dame, a fighter with nothing to lose.
The new film is presumed to center on Adonis intending to be a better dad to his daughter while also making preparations to face major rival Damien Anderson in the ring.
Donnie Creed and Damian Andersen, closest friends, will reunite in Creed III (Jonathan Majors). Damian has just been freed from prison, but while Adonis is delighted to see him, Damian is more intent on exacting vengeance on a friend he believes abandoned him in search of a better life. The fresh photograph depicts the pair having shared a fist bump next to a boxing ring, suggesting that the “brothers” are looking for a way to reunite through a sport they both enjoy.
However, it appears Damian isn’t the pretty standard antagonist we have gotten to know. Also, the characters’ previous relationship is certain to make their fight inside the ring even more heated. Despite the lack of plot details, the reappearance of Damian in Adonis’ life will have an impact on the balance and stability Donnie has found in his connection with his love interest, Bianca (Tessa Thompson). Majors, who are set to play Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania and elsewhere in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appears to be in excellent shape as a worthy contestant to Adonis Creed.
Rocky Bilbao skilled and supervised Adonis in Creed, and the sequel saw Adonis defeat Viktor Drago, bringing an end to a lengthy rivalry with Viktor’s father, Ivan Drago, who brutally murdered Adonis’s own dad Apollo Creed in Rocky IV.
Creed III was supposed to be released in November 2022, but it has been pushed back to March 3rd, 2023.
We anticipate that the third installment, like Creed and Creed II, will be released in theatres. There hasn’t been any official word on this yet, so we’ll keep this page updated with new information as it becomes available.
