The Nightmare Before Christmas (also known as Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas) is a 1993 American stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy film directed by Henry Selick (in his feature directorial debut) and produced and conceived by Tim Burton. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, the King of “Halloween Town”, who stumbles upon “Christmas Town” and schemes to take over the holiday.
The film is a stop motion animation, a form of animation that involves physically manipulating objects, photographing them one frame at a time, and making the resulting photographs into an animated movie.
In “Nightmare Before Christmas 2”, Jack Skellington is back as the singer and king of Halloween Town. His life has been filled with misery for he goes on a quest to bring Christmas to Halloween Town. As he does this, his brother, Justin Skellington drops through the portal from Christmas Town, who is obsessed with the holidays from its television screen. As a result of his dropping through the portal, Jack is determined to stop Justin. The two fight in every way possible (including combat and songs) until they are tired enough to figure out what Christmas really means throughout the kingdom.
According to the producer, it will be released in 2024. However, there is a possibility that it could be released in the 2024 year.
This is another sequel to the movie. As a matter of fact, the first sequel “Sandy’s Precious Locket” was released in 1959 by Walt Disney. It has been 25 years since Tim Burton’s “Nightmare Before Christmas” was released in 1993. The plot of this sequel is similar to the original film’s plot. In addition, Jack Skellington and Sally McKeen return as the protagonists of this sequel.
However, there are three differences in this film. The first difference is that Sally enters Christmas Town from Halloween Town and it does not follow a linear rhyme scheme like Nightmare Before Christmas did; however, it follows a similar pattern to the first film.
The owner of this series claimed that he is going to make a sequel. In addition, he is going to make another film called “Nightmare Before Christmas 2”. This season contains many episodes. In the first episode of this season, Jack and Sally feel bored in Halloween Town and they decide to take a vacation in Christmas Town; however, as soon as they arrive there, they see skeletons dancing in the streets and singing Christmas carols. After that, Jack tries to spread some cheer by singing for them but it fails because when one kid sees him on the street singing for them, he was scared. However, Sally manages to calm him down and teach him how to be friendly.
The first season contains two episodes (“The Monster Mash Christmas Special” and “In the Shadow of the Moon”). The former is the most popular episode of the first season. In this episode, Jack, Sally, and Halloween Town come to the North Pole for a party which helps them in finding out who stole Santa’s Christmas present. The latter episode touches on some deep issues such as racism and other things. The second episode also has a similar plot to the first one but it covers fewer issues than the previous one did. In addition, there are two more episodes in this season (“The Nightmare Before Christmas 2” and “Jack and Sally’s Holiday Blowout”). Both these episodes have plots that are similar to each other.
