This post is very timely. I was reading the other day and this quote came up. Let me tell you that if I was asked to “be a part of the solution,” I wouldn’t be at all surprised by the response. I can’t speak for anyone else but I have never understood why anyone would be afraid of that. I have never seen or heard of a single person who was afraid of the idea of a government takeover.

The idea of the government taking over from the people is so old and so ridiculous that I’m not even sure it was ever considered. It seems like a plot from a cartoon that was made in the ’40s to sell soap for the military. I’m not sure if that’s why the government is afraid of that idea.

The title of this book means that the main characters who make up the majority of the story are the group that takes control of the island of the future. In fact, the book doesn’t say much about why they use the government, but I do think that the group is responsible for some of the stuff they took on.
