What’s The Plotting Of “Live Action City Hunter”?

The series is about a private eye named Ryo Saeba and his partner Kaori Makimura. The two are hired by desperate clients to do the impossible, and they’re always up to the challenge. All work and no play make Ryo a dull boy so he soon finds time to enjoy himself with beautiful women and expensive Cuban cigars. When the police force needs help, they turn to Ryo. In the hot pursuit of criminals, Ryo drives his black Ferrari into a new daily adventure! Wherever there’s danger, Ryo will be there!

The story follows Ryo Saeba, a young man who grew up in the slums of 1970s Tokyo. Eventually, he comes to the conclusion that he is destined for something more than his poor life has led him to believe. He gains the skills and tools to pursue his idealistic dreams. One fateful night, he meets Kaori Makimura and together they set out on a journey to make their dreams become reality.

The original manga ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1985 to 1991 with 239 chapters collected in 35 tankobon volumes. It ended there as the original author passed away.

a live-action adaptation of the City Hunter manga by Tsukasa Hojo. The film will be created and distributed by Netflix in collaboration with production houses HoriPro and Office Shirou and is set to debut in 2019 on Netflix. “City Hunter,” tells the story of a self-taught assassin on a personal mission to find his father’s killer. This is the second time that “City Hunter” has been adapted into a live-action film after an Italian animated version premiered in Italy recently which was made with agreement from Sony Pictures Entertainment Asia Co., Ltd.
