Seven Kash Technologytm Hoverboard Tips You Need To Learn Now

Maybe you’re like me and you once dreamed of leaving the city on your own personal hoverboard. It’s just one of those things that humans have always wanted to do, right? Sadly, despite how much fun it seems to just fly off a ramp and feel weightless, we’re still years away from production-ready devices. Kash technologytm hoverboard is probably the closest we’ll get to that dream, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. Now, this isn’t the future so I’m not going to go over all the things they need to fix with the product, but instead let’s focus on a few accessories you can use when you’re ready to take your board out for a spin.

A hoverboard carrier or backpack comes in handy if you have an automatic model. Automatic hoverboards are great because you don’t have to worry about pushing them around (or falling off and crapping yourself like I did when I first got my hands on one). That’s why I’m here with seven tips that you need to learn now so that next time the technology is ready for prime-time, you’ll be partying on your own personal hoverboard like everyone else.

1) Don’t Buy A Flying Board

There is no such thing as “the best” hoverboard on the market at this time. There is literally a new model released every day of this year and the technology we have doesn’t yet make for the experience you want or deserve. Don’t get me wrong, I love riding hoverboards and I’m sure you do too, but if you want to be a leader in science and technology, the best thing you can do is continue to ride sub-par devices until we get one that’s reliable. Just because there’s only one model now doesn’t mean it will be that way in a few months. 

2) Don’t Buy A Bad Charger

When I purchased my first hoverboard, it was still a little cheaper than their final retail price so I thought I’d save a few $50s by purchasing it from an online seller. That’s where all the problems started for me. When I opened the box, all that came with it were some shitty manuals and a single charger in a zippered bag. There were also no instructions for charging which was annoying but not too much of a shock since hoverboards don’t have standard charging ports (at least not yet). I plugged it into an outlet and went to bed.

3) Don’t Buy A Bad Cartridges

Remember when I said there’s a lot of crap out there? Well, once you’ve gotten that adapter and charger, guess what comes along with the package? Yes. Only one cartridge. Now this may not seem like a big deal at the beginning but imagine having to play around with the thing for an hour on each ride just to make it finish charging. You might as well just buy one from the same brand so it fits your board. 

In fact, you should even double check that before you buy since I’ve seen products (like mine) come with two cartridges that are both wrong for your device. I’ve also noticed that there are different connectors for different brands so if you get a bad adapter or charger, make sure you switch brands right away (or fake it until you make it and just use your other cartridge).

4) Don’t Buy A Bad Remote

So, the next thing your tech expert friend told you to get was a remote. Maybe he recommended that specific one because he knew what was going on with your device. Either way, I’d advise that you take his advice and grab a remote because they can be really helpful when it comes to testing out different hoverboards in store. You’re probably wondering why I haven’t said anything about remote safety yet but don’t worry. That’s coming up next.

5) Don’t Buy A Bad Remote/Charging Cable

So we’re back to chargers and adapters, right? Well, I’m just throwing that out there because even if you have a remote for your device, it might not have the same programming that your board does. As long as you have good documentation on how to use your device or you’re going with a brand that has great customer service, this shouldn’t be an issue. However, if you decide to go with another brand or model of hoverboard, make sure the charging cable is compatible. I’ve seen a lot of boards claim to be compatible but they aren’t so don’t waste your money.

6) Don’t Buy A Bad Chemicals

Yeah, so I said to never buy a bad charger or remote and yet I’m saying that you need a cleaning machine for your hoverboard. Why? Because it will be dirty. There is no way around this. If you’re riding a device in the streets, you will get dirty. So, when you purchase your hoverboard, make sure to include a cleaning kit as well (in addition to the charger and remote). It’s not always easy to clean a hoverboard because there are sensitive components inside but if you’re just applying simple soap and water after every ride, it should be fine.

7) Don’t Buy A Bad Hoverboard

Last but not least. If you’re going to buy a hoverboard, make sure it’s a good one. As I said throughout this article, it’s not easy to make a good hoverboard (especially if you want to be safe), so don’t buy the first thing you see at the store because there might be something better in the very next aisle over. It might not even be obvious that “better” is what you’re looking for right now so make sure your research goes beyond price alone. Good luck!
