The “All-Stars” Drama Series, starring Reese Witherspoon, has been picked up by Amazon for a two-season sequence

Amazon Prime Video has touched down All-StarsStars, a half-hour dramedy featuring and executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, with a two-season quick order after a major price war among upper live streams.

The film is produced by Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production house, with Lauren Neustadter serving as executive producer. Aline Brosh McKenna, co-creator of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and the Devil Wears Prada, is the movie’s creator and show’s creator. She will instruct the pilot and quarter of the events, as well as the executive, to develop the series under her Agile Machine label.

Premise

All Stars describes an erstwhile Daytona Beach cheerleader (Witherspoon) who tricks her way throughout the pond to help educate cheerleading at a school in coastal England and is required to instruct a motley crew of pupils – and herself – how to be All-Stars. The show’ notion, which has a Ted Lasso feel to it, was heavily inspired by Andrea Kulberg’s narrative about an American woman from either the South who traveled to the UK to instruct British teenagers about cheerleading.

This is Witherspoon’s 1st television show featuring a vehicle; she previously appeared in shows and films Big Little Lies on HBO, which also began as a mini-series, and The Morning Show on Apple TV+. Before those roles, Oscar-winner Witherspoon was perhaps best known in television for her appearance as Rachel’s (Jennifer Aniston) sister on NBC’s touched drama series Best friend.

Hello, Sunshine is the production company behind of elevated melodic mini-series Daisy Jones & The Six, which would be set to officially launch on Amazon Prime Video in March 2023.

To date, Witherspoon must have received four Emmy nominations, including a share of both the 2017 Outstanding Limited Series award for Big Little Lies. She also received Emmy nominations for her acting jobs in both The Morning Show and Big Little Lies.

Hello Sunshine, which also puts women at the center of every tale it adapts, has gradually applied a variety of books for mainstream tv, including Little Fires Everywhere else on Hulu, From Concept to completion on Netflix, and the forthcoming The Last Thing He Told Me on Apple TV+.

Main Storyline of the Show

Andrea Kulberg, an American woman who instructed cheerleading to teenagers in the United Kingdom, influenced the story of All-StarsStars. Aline Brosh McKenna, who will also serve as showrunner, formed the story arc. She will also guide several episodes of the television series, along with the pilot, and serve as an executive producer thru her production company, Lean Machine. Brosh McKenna previously collaborated with Witherspoon just on the Netflix film Your Place or Mine, which really is due next year.
