What is ibraheem azooz?

Ibraheem Azooz is one of the first and only scientists who studies the properties of magnets and how they are affected by gravity. Ibraheem Azooz has worked on the effects of uniaxial magnets and the spontaneous magnetization of ferromagnetic materials. Ibraheem has also researched on the principles of producing permanent magnets by applying a magnetic field to a crystalline material, and in 1952 he was awarded his PhD on these studies.

He is currently teaching at MIT. He is also an author with more than 50 publications in scientific journals as well as many books, book chapters and conference proceedings. In 1971 he was one of the editors for “Magnetism”, an important book that studied the fundamentals of magnetism through numerous research findings published between 1901-1970.

He then moved to Italy where he worked as an assistant to Professor Federico Bassani at the Polytechnic University in Milan. In 1950 he received his Ph.D. from MIT in the fields of ferromagnetism and magnetization. In 1951 he joined the faculty at MIT where he is currently a Professor Emeritus.
