The Secrets To ESSENTIALISM LIFESTYLE

ESSENTIALISM is a philosophy based on two principles: (1) do what matters most, and (2) eliminate or minimize everything else like the boston park plaza lifestyle. It is a way of living without just saying no; it’s about being selective in what you say yes to, so that your time can be spent focusing on essential things. It’s about doing less for better quality results. It’s about knowing what your priorities are and sticking to them through thick and thin.

1. CONSTRUCTIVE MINIMALISM

Essentialism is not about rigid minimalism – it’s about focusing on what’s essential and letting go of the rest. It’s about being selective in what you do and how you do it. It’s about creating more space to quiet your mind, improve the quality of your decisions, and strengthen your relationships.

2. FOCUS ON THE HIDDEN ASSETS

All that matters is how well you spend your time–which activities lead to a direct return on investment (ROI). Minimizing activities that drain energy or produce no substantial results can increase those moments of calm, enabling you to make better decisions and focus even more on the things that are truly meaningful.

3. STOP SAYING NO

No only says yes to anything and everything. It misses out on the things that are important and most vital. What matters is how you spend your time; how you spend your time determines what you get from life.

4. HONOR YOUR PRIORITIES

When it comes to prioritizing, prioritization is an art, not a science. There’s no perfect formula or algorithm to follow. Your life is so different from others that there’s no cookie-cutter approach or template you can use as a starting point (assuming there even is such a thing).

5. GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD

More action equals more results, so it’s important to pay attention to your environment and take notice of what’s happening in the world around you. You need to be present and aware of the world around you so that you can become a part of it. True wisdom is always in keeping with reality, not running away from it or looking for shortcuts or quick fixes. Your environment – including those around you – will teach you how to prioritize, how to do less without getting less for your efforts, and how to create more out of nothing.

6. BE MORE

Go outside your comfort zone, experiment with new things, and look for new solutions to old problems. In doing so, you’ll tap into a wealth of solutions that are never discovered or applied to their fullest potential because they’re not on our radar. The world is full of hidden assets and possibilities waiting to be discovered.

7. CHOOSE YOUR OWN PATH

Big decisions require big thinking (that’s why we’re flexible). If we make decisions based on what others think or say instead of on our own choices, then we’re missing out on the big picture – the big picture is made up of multiple tiny pictures like this one.

8. BE SELF-RELIANT

The most important thing you can do is to be self-reliant; to trust in yourself, be confident in your abilities, and know that we are not limited by what we have. If you’re not creating your own opportunities and seizing those that come your way, then you’ll suffer from abundance blindness.

9. SLOW DOWN

The best way to discover what’s important is not to run around like a chicken with our head cut off. It’s to spend some time doing slow, deep breathing and taking notice of what you see and hear. DOING MORE IS NOT THE ANSWER; SLOWING DOWN IS. Every minute of our time is precious; too many things can happen in too little time. The more you rush through life, the less you’ll have for yourself. Slow down and savor each moment; live every day just a little more fully so that it’s more fulfilling when it’s over.

10. DE-STRESS

Stress is a result of not being sure of who you are or what you’re doing. The more you become confident in your decisions, the less stress you’ll experience. When you reject mediocrity and set your heart on the greatness that lies within, then the world will respond in kind and make sure that your self-worth is recognized. You’ll begin to experience things for yourself and others, not because it’s expected or expected of them. Be authentic in everything that you do – never apologize for who you are or what you’re about. Accept who we are and be proud of what we stand for; others will follow suit if they know who they are.
