When Blitzer attempts to recruit the younger mercenaries to join his own team, Barney calls the meeting off before Christmas has a chance to accept. Christmas then meets with former co-workers and friends Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture), Bonaparte (Kelsey Grammer), and Mars (Terry Crews), who were all fired by Barney years ago, and they explain that they have joined Blitzer’s team as a result of being cast out of Barney’s crew.
