“Wendesday” is a local newspaper that covers all of Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s printed monthly and is one of the oldest and most well-respected community newspapers in North Carolina.
The Charlotte Observer is a newspaper we regularly read here at The Motley Fool. Its publisher, The Observer’s founder, Charlotte Mecklenburg, and the editor-in-chief, Joe Kalt, have been longtime friends of ours. Joe and I grew up in the same neighborhood in West Charlotte.
The Observer is the most-read newspaper in the Charlotte area, and it has been a longtime supporter of our company. It’s also been our favorite local paper to read, and we’re always happy when we see an article from the Observer on our site. It’s also nice to find that our articles are written by the folks at the Observer, and not just by our CEO or one of our CFOs, or one of our marketing managers.
We’re always happy to know that our articles are written by the same folks as the Observer, and are not just the result or a collaboration between our CEO or one of our CFOs or one of our marketing managers.
In addition to our regular weekly articles, the Observer is also home to our weekly column called “The Observer Review” which covers a wide range of topics, including movies, music, the arts, sports, technology, and more. We look forward to reading your weekly columns, and find they’re always insightful and informative.
One of the biggest differences between a newspaper and a website is that we feel it’s important to let our readers know what we’re doing at the Observer, so we’re happy to say that wendsday news is one of our most popular features. It’s also a great way to let you know what we’re doing with the Observer on a daily basis.
The wendesday posts are delivered every Tuesday, and we look forward to reading them over the coming week. We can’t wait to hear from you, and hope you enjoy them.
Well that certainly sounds like a good idea. We had a few emails from readers recently asking us about wendsday, and we were happy to oblige, but the best part is that we actually had a good reason to do so. I guess I should have given you the long-winded name for this feature, because our friend and colleague, the blogger, is also a great guy.

Wendsday is a week-long feature that we feature in the blog every Monday. It was originally conceived of as a feature that we would write as we go about our day. We have a lot of people who read the blog, and we get tons of emails asking us to put something on the blog that is related to the day’s events. A few years ago we felt that having something like this on the blog was a shame, so in 2008 we created wendsday.
