Never Underestimate The Influence Of Graphic Design

Hitting the right visual aesthetics and presenting them in a digestible way is no easy feat. It takes great talent, creativity, and incredible skill to capture what a business wants through design. The impact of graphic design extends much further than just the visual presentation of your brand or product. Graphic designers have been responsible for some of the most uplifting moments in our history, from rallying the nation during World War II to influencing countless generations to fight for change in modern-day society. Pixel 3 ashes of the singularity wallpaper is a few of the most recent examples of how graphic design can influence and inspire future generations through the power of communication.

Never Underestimate The Influence Of Graphic Design :

1. The White House’s Colors

The design industry is in a constant state of change. New innovations are created every day, and new ways to communicate with users are constantly emerging. One trend that seems to be gaining momentum is the use of full-screen imagery to display content. Most platforms have begun adopting the full-screen format for their content, from TV commercials and print advertisements to even social media posts. As this trend continues, it will be interesting to see what creative directions graphic designers decide to take this new form of presentation.

2. The Influence Of Minimalism

Finding new ways to present your brand or product can be tricky, but sometimes the most simple designs are the ones that stick with us the longest. For example, take a look at Apple’s original iPhone, iPod, and MacBook designs. In terms of design concepts and layout, they’re each incredibly straightforward — nothing flashy or showy about them. Instead of using an over-saturated background and choosing traditional gauges to display volume levels on their devices, Apple instead opted for plain white backgrounds and black gauges. This minimalist approach to design was truly game-changing for Apple back in 2007 when the first iPhone was released.

3. The Power Of Artwork

It’s been said that art is one of the highest forms of communication, and we’ve seen this proven time and time again through the work of graphic designers. Some of the most beautiful pieces of artwork have come from military insignias, which are used to represent a special group or organization that has been closely allied with a nation’s military. In many cases, these insignias are not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly symbolic. Take, for example, the US Army logo. It features two white five-pointed stars against a red background, with a blue square on the left side and white block letters spelling “ARMY” stacked on top of one another on the right side. The shape and color of the stars, along with the wording of the letters, all symbolize different aspects of the US Army.

4. Important Moments In History

We’ve also seen how graphic design can be used to communicate important messages to a large audience in real time. On November 8, 2013, election day for President Barack Obama, a dynamic graphic design was used to display the results of the election. The US flag symbolizes our nation’s strength and power, and when combined with the stars from the US flag, which represent each State of the Union, they form one large star. The representation of the State Star is significant because it represents how many electoral votes each state can cast in presidential elections.

5. Doing Can Be Fun!

The incredible amount of talent required to create such beautiful and powerful designs is evident in their beauty alone. This incredible talent is also what makes graphic designers not only the most demanded and respected members of the current workforce but also some of the highest-paid. In today’s digital world, it’s important to have a strong grasp on graphic design concepts to be able to visually communicate your ideas and message to anyone who may be watching.

6. The Evolution Of Iconography

Today, icons are the primary means of navigating through smartphones and desktop computers, but the history of these symbols is not one rooted in technology or design. In fact, many of our computer icon designs today borrow from classic artwork, such as that from religious imagery and ancient civilizations. From early hieroglyphics to ancient Greek mythology, these symbols have been ingrained into our everyday culture for thousands of years. It’s only natural for designers to use this historical information and apply it to modern devices.

7. The Power Of Visualization

Visualization is another great example of how technology has influenced graphic design. Years ago, before computers were even invented for business purposes, artists would create graphics by hand in order to create movie posters and advertisements from scratch. Nowadays, we rely on sophisticated computer programs to automatically draw up images and then manipulate them with music or audio effects.
