1. “Bigg Boss 2” (2008)
At just 19, Swara Bhaskar was the youngest contestant to ever enter the Bigg Boss House. She had dreams of making it big in Bollywood and she made a strong name for herself on this show. Her movie ’Bhai Ho” won her accolades and she won the All-India reality show as well.
2. “Bigg Boss 3” (2009)
Rakhi Sawant had quit modeling when the jury offered her an opportunity to take part in this show. The former model won hearts on account of her fiery attitude and attitude towards life and had decided not to return when she got evicted a few months later.
3. “Bigg Boss 4” (2010)
We had never seen a wild bunch like this. Farah Khan, Arnaz Arshad, Faisal Khan, Bani J and four of their relatives entered the house. The former jodi managed to survive 6 weeks in the house and managed to leave as one of the most loved contestants in the history of the show. With contestants like Rakhi Sawant, Vindu Dara Singh, Rimi Sen and Pooja Bedi, viewers were treated to some serious entertainment.
4. “Bigg Boss 5” (2011)
Comedy Queen Mallika Sherawat put the hot and sexy contestants from the reality show to shame when she entered with her hot figure in a sari and high heels. She won the show and also had a very close relationship with Deepak Thakur. Even though her stint was short-lived she managed to win hearts.
5. “Bigg Boss 6” (2012)
This was the first season that had a male contestant as the winner. NTR Jr. had his fair share of controversies, but he was a hit with the ladies of the house and he won hearts after leaving Bigg Boss. It was Rahul Mahajan who had won the hearts of all with his bold outlook on life and Salman Khan-like attitude. Even though he has since become busy with other projects, we are sure he will return at some point!
6. “Bigg Boss 7” (2013)
The winner of this season, Sakshi Tanwar had broken many records for being India’s youngest beauty queen and also India’s first transgender pageant winning princess title. She had also won the Limca Book of Records by being the first transgender to be part of a reality show. She was an amazing host and even though her time in the house was short lived she made us root for her to win this time round.
7. “Bigg Boss 8” (2014)
With the return of Kapil Sharma, this was a surefire winner for us! The comedian has always been a favorite amongst the audience and he looked hilarious in the house with his amazing body and wit. We were glad to see him back and hope this win will lead to more appearances on TV!
8. “Bigg Boss 9” (2015)
A lot of fans were not too happy with this one as Farah Khan had entered as a wild card contestant instead of Salman Khan. Even though her choices were wacky at times, hers were the funniest moments in this season. Many also found it hard to separate herself from her previous role as choreographer for Bigg Boss.
9. “Bigg Boss 10” (2016)
In the previous season, the hot favorite had been actor-turned politician Rakhi Sawant and we were all shocked to see her lose out to Rimi Sen on popularity votes. This time around, she is back with a bang to win over the audience and there’s certainly a lot of support for her from the audience.
10. “Bigg Boss 11” (2017)
This was not liked much by fans and critics alike due to its short span of just 20 days and it featured only 10 contestants in the house instead of 14 like the other seasons. But the show managed to garner some of the highest TRPs in years due to this and fans have been clamoring for another season since it ended. Apart from Mika Singh, we had new entrants like Sunny Leone, Karan Tacker and Rochelle Rao.
