You might be asking yourself, “Why would I write an article about a company’s website that doesn’t exist?” Well, Basterin legit is actually a bogus website created by someone when they were bored out of their mind on a rainy day. The purpose of this article is to list 10 reasons why Basterin is terrible and will waste your time. Here we go:
1. Bad Design
Let’s be honest, if you’re going to create a website, it’s a very important step. You want your design to be clearly laid out and easy to understand. Basterin, however, is a dream with bad design. I’ve been browsing the website for a few days now, and it looks like someone threw hack-a-mole down on the computer and tried to form something out of it. Let’s try again:
Information overload! The more information you have the better! …except on this website. It literally says “Basterin” at the top of every page over there. There is no way that little gem of information isn’t going to get old eventually.
2. Confusing Information
There is a lot of information on Basterin’s website, and it’s unlike anything I’ve seen in my entire life. It has so many guides and such that creating this particular article was a chore for me to write. Why? Because it was all too confusing to be of any use to me. Here we go again:
I love the “Basterin” font!
Chi chi chi! This is what you get when you mix confusing information with a font that looks like it was designed by someone with language problems (See: “Emoji”).
3. Directionless
Sometimes, a website’s purpose can be confused into one of two things: A) Doing a lot of work which is confusing to the end user, or B) Helping you do something. Unless you’re going to be using Basterin today, tomorrow, and next week (if not upfront), then I don’t see either happening. This is due to the fact that the website has no clear direction whatsoever.
If I were you, I’d check out whatever the hell Google did before doing this again:
The first four slides don’t even make sense at all. The second slide doesn’t tell me anything more than what’s already on its own website.
4. No Contact Info
When I was reading this piece, I thought, “Why the hell would someone make a website for a company that doesn’t exist?” Then I clicked on their “Contact Us” link and looked at their email address. It stated that the owner of Basterin is “anonymous.co.” They did not include a name or anything else to assist you in contacting them!
5. No Social Media Links
The website states that it has no social media links, yet it does have a Facebook page. The address for that page is also linked on their homepage, so anyone who has a Facebook can find the page anyway. Since this is the case, Basterin should remove the link from their website and create an official Facebook page.
6. They Keep Changing Their Linked Email Address!
This is something I just realized recently: The email address that links to their contact information keeps changing! On this article’s draft, it was ” [email protected] .” After I submitted it to my database, it changed to ” [email protected] .” Then I checked again one day later, and it was ” [email protected] . The only thing that made sense was to go through every email address on their “Contact Us” page.
7. Only One Guide On Their Website
I have read over 80% of the information on this website at least once, and I still have trouble comprehending everything that it has in store for me. Why? Because there is only one guide on this website, and they keep changing it so much. That’s right. Basterin is only one guide, and they change it so much that it’s completely useless to the end user. I saw this on a little whiteboard I made:
If you want to use Basterin, read the one guide over there, and then drop by the Facebook page for more information!
8. Their Website Doesn’t Work! (For Some Reason!)
I’ve been trying to contact Basterin for a few days now, and their website doesn’t work! Since I’m technology-oriented and have experience with computers, I know that this is very unusual. I was thinking that maybe the owner of this site didn’t update their link, and I was proven wrong when I turned to my database. Oh well…
9. Facebook Page Links To The Website’s Website!
The link was there, but it was hard to see because it was in their website’s background. Since they don’t have a Facebook page (yet), they need to change that link so that the end user doesn’t have to know how to find the Facebook page first. Alright, I’ll put the links right here:

https://www.basterin-brasil.blogspot.com
10. The Website Is Almost Empty
This website is almost empty. Literally, the only things here are “About Us,” “Contact Us”, and about five links to blogs/websites that have nothing to do with what Basterin actually is. This is unacceptable and disgraceful.
Conclusion of this article:
To conclude, Basterin is a complete waste of time. I don’t know why I even spent a few hours on this, but I did. I hope that you find this information useful in some way. As for me, the only thing I’ve learned from this is that the owner of Basterin needs to start off more simple and utilize more things in their website. If they were to do this, it would be excellent!
