He had his intelligence report briefing and then went to Congress for an education hearing where he delivered remarks on No Child Left Behind. At about nine am, the president received word that planes were hijacked in New York City and Washington D.C., but due to everything being so unclear at this point, it didn’t seem like anything too big was going on yet. -At around ten thirty AM, both towers collapsed into rubble after two airplanes crashed into them respectively; another third plane hit the Pentagon shortly afterwards which lead to speculation if there were more hijackers involved with other targets such as nuclear plants or landmarks in Washington D.C.; panic
