The cast of Frozen 2 has had some teasing fun over the last few years, but official to announce a sequel.
It has yet to be confirmed by Disney for “Frozen 3”, but given the success of the second movie, there is no doubt in our minds that they will do anything to make sure that they continue to make more movies. The cast has said and done everything they can to tease fans into thinking a third movie might happen. We know it sounds great but at this point, it’s all speculation until Disney confirms whether or not there will be another Frozen 3.
Who’s In The Casting For “Frozen 3”?
- Kristen Bell (The Good Place) as Anna
- Idina Menzel (Glee) as Elsa,
- whilst Gad would revive his role as Olaf
- Jonathan Groff (Glee) as Kristoff
- and Frank Welker (Scooby-Doo) as Sven
What’s The Plotting OF “Frozen 3”?
Although very little is known about Frozen 3, it has been rumored that the movie will see Anna and Elsa go on vacation to Arendelle’s “sister” city of Arendelle. There are also rumors that the events of Frozen will be continued in a new book series.
This plot has been rumored for some time, but a short trailer has been shown widely, giving fans a kind of hint about what the plot might be like. It shows Anna and Elsa playing on the beach, with Anna singing to herself about being happy to be back in Arendelle and Elsa teaching Kristoff how to play “Take Me Home”, with Anna stopping in surprise. The trailer ends with Elsa telling Anna that she must go.
It’s unknown at this point whether the storyline will end there or if the movie will continue beyond this point.
Another rumor is that the plot of Frozen 3 is that Anna and Elsa will travel to their mother’s homeland, Northuldra. It’ll be interesting to see what Arendelle, Northuldra, and Arendelle’s other sister cities (The Southern Isles?) are like in the movie.
Kristen Bell has also suggested that the movie might need a new villain.
What’s The Release Date Of “Frozen 3”?
Disney is only willing to commit to putting out at least two more Frozen movies, so it’s unlikely that they will release more than two per year. There is no release date yet, but with Disney’s track record, we expect to see it being released around the same time as the next installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series, which is set for release in 2025.
What’s Interesting About “Frozen 3”?
There has been a lot of speculation on the likely plotline for Frozen 3, with a lot of people thinking that it will tie up some loose ends and potentially state that Anna and Elsa are older now and have children who are featured in Frozen 2: side characters getting the main-character roles.
The trailer has also been widely seen as raising more questions than answering them.
One common one is what happened to Hans? One idea is that he returns as Anna’s romantic interest, but this would mean that Hans’ brother Gerda would have to be in the movie, with fans thinking that she might possibly be Elsa’s mother.
What’s The Review Of the Previous Two Sequels of “Frozen”?
The first Frozen movie was released in 2013, followed by a sequel that came out in 2017. If a third movie was to be made, the fans would hope for good things from the follow-up. The reviews were very positive overall, with Anna and Elsa receiving praise from critics and the general public alike.
The sequel had more of a focus on the relationship between Kristoff and Anna than in the first movie, which could mean that this may be where Frozen 3 will pick up.
The reviewers have been particularly impressed with how much talent went into creating the animation for each movie, highlighting that nothing is ever forgotten or left out of the process.
