This post will take you on a journey through the history of WWE, and some of their most memorable and well-loved products, from Andre the Giant playing chess to Hulk Hogan memorabilia like on umdl software. We’ll even toss in a few fictional items to ensure that you get your wrestling fix.

Wrestling fans know that the company has always been committed to being ahead-of-the-curve in terms of innovative marketing strategies. From Vince McMahon announcing he was going national with his show live on Monday Night Raw to when his wife Linda bought WCW for $2 million dollars, they’ve had an eye for success before it became common knowledge to other companies.

1. “WWE: The Greatest Wrestling Stars of the ’80s” DVD

This amazingly light-weight, 4 disc DVD set is perfect for taking with you on the bus, train or plane. Though the items are presented in an unusual fashion, the documentary on this box set is amazing and gives you the feeling that you’re actually sitting in a studio with Vince as he talks about his life in wrestling.

2. WWE WrestleMania 22 ring from JCPenney

The WWE makes a nice portion off merchandise and it’s no surprise that there are many items available for Christmas this year. In fact, there are three different WWE merchandise items available from JCPenney. I saw this ring before buying it, but didn’t want to get it for myself.

3. WWE Retro Championship Belt with John Cena Double-Sided Medal

The WWE also makes nice looking replicas of their championship belts which have names and images of past champions on each side (for example, this one has the belt worn by Hulk Hogan). If you’d like to own a replica of John Cena’s official championship belt, pay a visit to your local JCPenney store and pick up one of these beauties!

4. Andre the Giant’s Chess Set

The WWE loves celebrating various aspects of their culture such as their different regions and Superstars in their past. If there is a wrestler that has captured our imaginations, on-screen or off, it’s Andre the Giant. And we all love to have a piece of Andre in our homes, don’t we?

5. The Rock: Birth of an Icon (DVD)

How can you not like this movie! I loved watching Rocky Balboa try to make it big time, but could never have imagined him wanting to fight in the ring or needing an opponent to get his name out there for millions of people. The Rock is so captivating because of his background, and the hard work he put into becoming the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. No wonder he’s a legend today.

6. Dr. Death Steve Williams Photo

I have the pleasure of spending time with Steve at times and his stories just blow me out of the water. His accomplishments in wrestling, as well as his success in his personal life, are some of the few things that can rival Andre’s legacy in wrestling history.

7. WWE Cruiserweight Championship (Carlos Colon)

This is a real-life championship belt that was recently sold on eBay. For those who are not familiar with the WWE, they have an actual cruiserweight division which is the lighter weight wrestlers. There are few wrestlers that have held this specific title, Carlos Colon being one of them. The WWE has been good about investing in new talent for their roster so I think it’s cool to see some of them recognized as championship champions.

8. WWF/WWE Championship Title Belt

Carlos Colon wasn’t the only champion of this belt, either. History can tell you that there have been many champions of the WWE title. Some wrestlers held it until their name changed from WWE to World Wrestling Entertainment and then back to the WWE.

9. Bret Hart Figure

No one worked harder for their spot in wrestling history than Bret Hart did, and he made sure his fans knew it by standing up for himself and never backing down. In fact, he acknowledges many of his haters in this interview where he talks about getting booed while being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010.

10. WWF Hulk Hogan Presents: The Ultimate Warrior

As I’ve said previously, the WWE often makes replica products that are based on their past champions. This is a replica of the Hulk Hogan autograph book that was a part of his WWE Championship Title Belt. This was one of the most popular items ever in wrestling history and Hogan himself sees these as the only authentic items in his whole collection.

Conclusion:

This is a list of ten products for this Christmas that are sure to bring you joy and excite your wrestling spirit. Each one of these items is something that people dream about having on their shelves, especially myself. There are other products available from other retailers such as Target, but the WWE has their products available exclusively at JCPenney. Either way, I hope this new list will help to inspire you for the holidays and make shopping easier.
