Jt Sports Inc. is the largest sneaker retailer in the world and has recently announced their new line of basketball sneakers, Jt Sport Ak12s. The brand has been coming out with many new shoes from small brands over the years and one thing that always made them stand out was the special footbeds that would somehow make your feet feel like they were walking on clouds. However, this time around, Jt Sports decided to change up their design by creating a new type of sole for their shoes as well as using a completely different kind of foam mixture. JT sports ak12 is designed for comfort and support. Which made me wonder what kind of foam Jt sports used to make the sole and outsole of the shoe, would it be as comfortable as it looks or would I be able to feel an impact with every step.
I’ve recently been getting a lot of questions about the Jt Sports AK12 shoes that I have been wearing for the past few days after I first posted a couple pictures on Instagram, so I thought it would be best to write about them instead of just showing people my new shoes. This is the outside of the shoe with the Jt logo on it and is also where you can see their new “three line” logo. The color these shoes are in are called “Charcoal”, which is a nice dark charcoal black color, these are not your typical grayish white color that many sneakers come in today.
These shoes are made out of a material called “Aurimax” which is a type of leather that is supposed to be more breathable and last longer than the normal materials used in sneaker production, but the main goal of Jt Sports was to keep these shoes as lightweight as possible so that players could perform better on the court. The inside of these shoes have blue lining inside them with a very comfortable footbed, which I think makes these look even better considering most people can’t even see the inside of their shoe.
The Modern Rules Of Jt Sports Ak12 :
1. Size
The first thing that you should know before buying these shoes in my opinion is the sizing of them. They come in like a 6.5 to 7 shoe and most people I know that have bought these shoes are actually wearing around a 9 or 10 depending on what size they usually wear so you may want to order up half a size if you usually wear an 8-9 but no bigger than that. Years ago there was only one way to buy sneakers with your foot inside them, which was by using the size code on the side of the shoe and hoping for the best, or ordering from a local sneaker shop only to be disappointed because even though they might fit well it would always feel uncomfortable. I have found out that the way you truly know if a shoe is going to fit you well is by getting your foot inside the shoe and walking around for about 10 minutes wearing it, this way you will be able to tell right away which size will feel best.
2. Materials
This year Jt sports used a material they called ‘Aurimax’, which is supposed to be very breathable and lightweight. It almost felt like I was just wearing a normal pair of socks while playing in them, unlike other materials that I’ve worn in terms of basketball shoes such as mesh or leather. I really like this shoe because they are very light and they really feel like I’m not wearing anything on my feet when playing.
3. Upper
The upper of this shoe is made out of a nylon-type material and feels very soft, also it’s made very smooth so you don’t have to worry about rubbing any lumps or bumps in your shoes when playing. Some people have said that the material gets uncomfortable after a couple games due to friction but I haven’t encountered any problems with that at all yet, and I’ve only had them for a few days now.
4. Stitches
These shoes have a really great looking design to them, you can see the stitching all around the shoe and I know that this is a really important aspect of a basketball sneaker because if a stitch comes loose it will create friction inside the shoes and could cause problems for your feet when playing, which is why it’s important for one of these things to be stitched well. I think Jt sports did an incredible job with making such a nice looking pair of shoes, they look more like what I would expect from Jordan Brand than any other product available in the market right now so if you’re someone who likes Jt sports products then these shoes are definitely worth buying just because they look pretty amazing.
