Big Sky season 3, also called Big Sky: Deadly Trails, is a mystery series on ABC with a new showrunner, producers and cast with an exciting premise. After a devastating betrayal at the end of the season 2 cliffhanger, the show’s focus has shifted to the investigation of what happened at Bear Mountain Lodge. As part of their story reset, they have decided to introduce new characters to provide a fresh perspective on the relationships between Grizzly Adams and his family members and friends in addition to introducing new faces into the mix.

What About Plotting Of “Big Sky Season 3”?
Several new characters have been introduced such as Deputy Mo, who played a big role in the finale cliffhanger, and Beau Arlen (Jensen Ackles), a rich businessman who owns the excursion company. As well as new characters such as Mark Lindor (Omar Metwally) and Ren (Janina Gavankar), two
criminal brothers determined to stop Grizzly Adams’s hunt for justice/revenge at any cost.
The season begins with a flash forward to the aftermath of what happened at Bear Mountain Lodge that last day, then starts off with finding the bodies of Charlie, Jenny, and Anna.
What About The Launch Date Of “Big Sky Season 3”?
Like the other previous seasons, the “Big Sky Season 3” release date is not confirmed yet by ABC. However, recent reports show that it will be airing on January 20, 2022. But due to its popularity, we can expect another season to be released during the fall of 2021 or summer of 2022.
What’s Exciting About “Big Sky Season 3”?
The “Big Sky” series is one of the few mystery series that aired on ABC which isn’t currently available on Netflix, Hulu or any other streaming service. The success of this show has made it very difficult for ABC to air another mystery drama for years. However, as we mentioned in the summary, there are hints that “Big Sky” might get its own Netflix series, but there is no official word from Netflix yet. Therefore, we can’t say for sure that this will be the case.
In addition to ABC, “Big Sky: Deadly Trails” is available on Disney+ and its dedicated streaming hub, Star. It is also available in several other countries worldwide including Canada, Australia, India, and Singapore.
What’s The Filming Of “Big Sky Season 3”?
“Big Sky Season 3” is currently being filmed. However, the reports show that filming may start as early as October 2020, so it could be released as early as January 2021.
Besides filming in numerous locations around Calgary and surrounding areas, at Bear Mountain, BC, and Squamish Valley in BC, they have also filmed segments of the series in New York City with downtown shots of Manhattan and Brooklyn; however, this footage was shot way before the series began production.
The show is also currently filming on location out at Yellowstone National Park in West Yellowstone, Montana; this location will be featured in a few scenes during some episodes of the next season.
