Marvel Studios and Disney+ have announced the new series, Spider-Man: Freshman Year, which will be released exclusively with Marvel’s streaming service, Disney+. The popular superhero who has been a part of the Avengers onscreen is going to try to merge his high school life with his superhero adventures in this animated TV show.
Set for release in 2024, Spider-Man: Freshman Year features Peter Parker during high school. As he navigates through his senior year as well as homecoming and dealing with Aunt May’s health crisis all while avoiding being discovered by Tony Stark or Jameson.

The series’ plot revolves around Peter Parker’s freshman year at Midtown High School. He’s still a teenager, dealing with school work and finding ways to get over his feelings for Gwen Stacey, who is now in a relationship with another guy. At the same time, he is also struggling with his superhero work as Spider-Man.

The series premiered on May 1, 2024, and will continue for 40 episodes. It will air on Disney+ as well as several other networks. The entire run of “Spider-Man: Freshman Year” is expected to be released by August 2025.
