The films tell the story of an anthropomorphic ogre who, with his friends Donkey and Puss in Boots, goes to save a princess from the love-sick King Harold. Three films later, Shrek is at it again. He then followed up that it would be Shrek 5, meaning that it’s the final movie in this franchise. But there is no doubt that the franchise is a major hit with $2.8 billion worldwide box office receipts and an Oscar for Best Animated Feature for its first installment.
