The state of decay 2 news is a project that I have been working on for a few months. The first half of it is going to be a series of blogs about the state of decay that I have been experiencing in my home and what my goals are. I have included an index, which I think will be helpful for readers who are just beginning the project.
I’ve been working on this project for a long time, and it’s been getting increasingly difficult to keep everything in one location. A few months back I started keeping a Google Drive folder with a separate “state of decay” folder. The reason for this was that I had begun working with a different group of writers who were creating stories around similar subjects. These stories tended to be about people in decaying homes or other abandoned places.
It was a mistake to have these stories in separate folders, because they just ended up being one big story, which I felt was more frustrating than helpful for anyone. Even if I’d been able to keep them together, it would have been really difficult to keep them organized, because they all had different stories and different characters.
I think it would be helpful to have a single folder with all the stories I had created so far. I was able to organize them by region, but after trying to group them by topic, it became just really hard.
It’s hard, too, because you need to sort out which of these articles you actually read because I didn’t want to have to go back and read the articles that I had ignored or never even heard of before. I also feel like it would be helpful to have a single place where I could list all the articles I have created so far.
When I was in the studio I was really proud of that one and just wanted to continue with my work. But when I started to write, I was not really excited about it. Even when I realized that I had made three of my biggest mistakes, I still felt excited about it.I was like “Well, you’re going to do better next time. You’re going to be super proud of that one.
The best part of state of decay is you can tell what people are feeling because they share it. You can see why people feel that way, and you’ll probably feel exactly the same way with your own writing. It’s like writing a diary of the last 24 hours.
Of course I don’t know everything about writing, but I do know that I’m going to have a lot of fun writing this entry. I can’t wait to do it.
