A man, Rigby Idaho, was charged with domestic battery and domestic assault after he was caught beating his girlfriend to death on July 4, 2016. The man reportedly confessed to the attack but was found guilty and sentenced to two years in prison.
The victim, whose name is being withheld to protect her privacy, was identified as a 28 year-old woman from St. Cloud. Rigby Idaho is from Pocatello, and the couple was apparently in love and had recently purchased the house on the farm where the incident occurred.
Rigby Idaho has been charged with first degree murder, second degree murder, and domestic battery and is being held in the St. Cloud County Jail awaiting trial. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 14.
