My husband and I decided to quit the city police force after three years in Minnesota. I think the more I think about it, the more it becomes a reality. I think that is the most important decision in my life. But it is also the most important decision on my part.
Our current contract was set to expire soon. We are also getting married in a few weeks and we had to decide whether to renew or not. I’m in favor of renewing, because I like the work and I love the people I’m working with, but I don’t want to be working with a police department. I don’t want to be a cop anymore.
The main reason is that the police department does not like the idea of a police work contract that expires, and that means that we have to spend more time keeping peace with the police department, which is really important to me. But if we wanted to work again with the police department, it would be better to stay in the city. The police department would be better for doing our job better.
Now if you want to work with the police, go to a different police department. At any rate, if you want to work with the police department, I recommend you go to Minneapolis. They would not be happy at all with the idea of us working with them again, and I personally wouldnt give them the time of day.
