How did Chelsea Debror clothing start?
Chelsea Debror Clothing started as a passion project for Chelsea Deboer. A friend made Chelsea a dress in college she never though would fit right and she instantly fell in love with how it looked on her. After searching high and low for something similar, she realized there was no one else making dresses like this and decided to create one herself. That is how Chelsea Debror Clothing started.
Current collection: A total of 15-20 styles per collection are produced at a time. Right now she is working on the spring collection (spring 2014). She has already brought us three petite style dresses in the fall and winter collections, but we have only seen a few styles from the spring line so far.
Who is Chelsea Deboer?
Chelsea Deboer was born in Marquette, Michigan and grew up in Portland, Oregon. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Eugene Lang College at The New School for Liberal Arts and a Masters Degree from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. In 2012, Chelsea Deboer left her job at a New York-based Startup to focus on her dream of becoming an independent fashion designer. Since then, she has been hard at work designing and producing clothing for girls and boys of all ages.

First, there are the obvious advantages that come with owning our children’s clothes, such as they are cute, they match with other pieces in our wardrobe, and they are high-quality. But Chelsea Deboer clothing has a few more advantages over other brands. Chelsea Deboer dresses can be worn by little girls and by big girls and all ages in between. For example, some of the clothes that we received for Anje can still fit her now even though we had to pass them along to Bel and Bee because they have outgrown them.
What are the disadvantages?
There are very few disadvantages with Chelsea Deboer clothing, but if you have a child with a fuller figure, the clothes may not be for you. At least for now. Chelsea Debroer is planning to expand her line to include pants and skirts in the near future. This should help fill in some of the gaps that currently exist in her collection. Also, the “petite” sizes are slim, so they should not be worn by girls who are on the larger side.

All of the patterns for Chelsea Deboer clothinq have been designed with sew-on snaps and easy assembly. Who is chelsea deboer clothing made for?

What fabrics are used?
Chelsea Deboer Clothing uses an array of different types of fabrics. Some of these would be considered more casual, but many are very stylish and fun. Almost all of the clothes are made from soft, woven fabrics that breathe well and have a great drape so they can be worn all day comfortably. She also likes to work with heavier woven fabrics that have a nice drape and that look good on curvy or full figured girls, but she does not use any “tighty-whitey” stretchy materials for her designs. She also uses some elastic knit for the waistbands of smaller sizes and to add shape to larger sizes.
