Have you ever wanted to name your farm in Stardew Valley, but never had the creative juices to come up with something clever?

This guide will teach you how to use a good, free generator for farm names.

First, go to stardew valley farm name generator. This page is safe-ish for work, but all of the suggestions are very informal and suggestive, so be aware.

Then, you’ll want to select the gender that your farmer is. For this tutorial it doesn’t matter what your gender is (even though I’m a girl farmer), so choose whatever you like.

1. Pig Farm

The first suggestion is the best way to begin with. “Pig farm” is an amusing farm name, and also suggests a pigpen!

That’s perfect for a farmer that wants to grow pigs, or maybe a farmer who’s just as good at farming as they are at crafting bacon.

2. Chicken Farm

If you’re planning on raising chickens, “Chicken Farm” is a good choice for your farm name. It’s short and sweet, but also filled with references to one of the most popular activities in Stardew Valley!

This one works well if you plan on raising chickens exclusively. If you already have a horse or cow, this suggestion probably doesn’t work for you well though.

3. Goat Farm

“Goat Farm” doesn’t make too much sense, but it is a good choice if you’re planning on raising goats.

It’s short and catchy, and would quickly become a popular farm name if you used it. You could also consider the name “Sheep Farm”.

4. Cow Farm

If you’re planning on raising cows, “Cow Farm” is a good choice for your farm name. It sounds appealing and unique, but is short enough not to become overused.

However, it’s still probably better for a girl farmer than for a boy farmer who wants to raise calves! You could also consider the names “Pig Barn”, or “Horse Ranch”.

5. Sheep Farm

“Sheep Farm” has a similar sound to “Cow Farm”, but doesn’t suggest the raising of calves. If you’re planning on raising sheep exclusively, this could be a good name for your farm.

6. Cat Farm

“Cat Farm”, as suggested in the Stardew Valley Farm Name Generator, would be a good name for a hobby farm that focuses on cats specifically. You could also consider the names “Alpaca Ranch”, or “Eggs/Chickens”.

7. Duck Pond

If your farm is nestled by a pond of ducks and you’re planning on raising them, try the name “Duck Pond”.

It sounds cute and rustic, but doesn’t make any promises about what you’re actually going to be doing with your farm.

You could also consider the names “Bee Farm”, “Honey Farm”, or “Vegetable Farm”.

8. Pig Farm 2

The second option on Stardew Valley Farm Name Generator suggests a different name for a pig farm, but it’s not very different from the first one.

It’s still a great option for the ‘pig’ farmer who wants to grow pigs except for a little variety!

9. Alpaca Ranch

“Alpaca Ranch” is definitely a unique name that could work well for an alpaca enthusiast.

The name suggests you plan on raising alpacas exclusively and also works well as a farm name since it’s also a type of animal.

10. Goose Farm

The last suggestion from the Stardew Valley Farm Name Generator is perhaps the most original suggestion, but it probably isn’t the best one. “Goose farm” may sound good at first because of its unusual nature, but it doesn’t really explain what your farm is going to be used for, which could make this suggestion confusing for other players.

You could also consider the names “Chicken Hatch”, or “Beaver Pond”.

11. Other Options

The Stardew Valley Farm Name Generator, as expected, offers all sorts of creative suggestions for your farm name.

However, some of them are a little more specific or blatant than others, so it’s wise to choose carefully.

You could also just go with your own ideas! Creating a custom farm name is a fun way to get creative, and you may not want to use the suggestions from the generator.

If you have some good ideas already, try it out and see how they work! Otherwise, stick with our guide and try these!

12. Best Farm Name

The Stardew Valley Farm Name Generator lists the first three suggestions in reverse, so you may not realize which suggestion is best.

I’ll do that for you! “Goat Hospital” is a clever and short name that suggests you plan on raising goats, and also works well as a farm name if your farm’s main purpose depends on the animals.

“Hog Ranch” is also a good option for a hog farmer, but can work for either gender. However, I prefer to use the name “Goat Ranch”, which mixes up all of my suggestions at once!

13. Dog Farm

If you plan on raising dogs, try “Dog Farm”. It’s short and darkly humorous, and also sounds good as a farm name.

You could also consider the names “Chicken Kingdom”, or “Animal Sanctuary”.
