I love working in news. The constant change, pace, and scope of news is something that I find exciting. I’ve really grown to love the way news stories present new and important information about the world. The pace may be fast, but the quality is great. I’ve been lucky enough to work for some great folks, like former News Chief Editor Tom Harrigan, who has worked with some of the most talented journalists in the business.
I’m not sure how I feel about the upcoming obituaries in my hometown of HARRISBURG. The folks who run the obituary department at the Harrisburg Patriot-News are great. I like them, but I’m not sure they know what they’re doing. I guess I get the feeling they’re getting a lot of requests, but there are also lots of folks who really don’t know anything about our city.
