All in all, the game is an open world survival game, in which you play as a member of a band of survivors sent down to clean up a world ravaged by a zombie outbreak. Each player controls a different character, such as a hunter, a mage, a warrior, a sniper, a ninja, or a thief. There is a story mode in which you take the role of a survivor. There is a co-op mode and a co-op versus mode.
